A Massachusetts native, Alex has always been creatively-minded and inquisitive. As a kid he was always drawing and making things, which later lead him into the field of design. After college he worked on sustainable residential homes, deep energy retrofits, bespoke luxury homes, and later affordable pre-fab housing.
At KBA, Alex enjoys working on designs that offer unique challenges, as these challenges often lead to the most creative solutions. While he enjoys all aspects of the design process, the most rewarding part is seeing his clients achieve their dream home.
Alex lives in Portland with his two cats and several dozen house plants. In his free time Alex enjoys making art, cooking, or exploring the Maine outdoors.
