about kevin browne

Kevin received his Bachelor of Architecture from Norwich University in Vermont. After practicing commercial architecture for a short time, Kevin switched gears and has spent the last 10 years in the residential architecture field.

Kevin has worked hard from his days as a drafter, to a project architect, to an associate. He has been a part of numerous architectural firms in Pennsylvania, Midcoast Maine, and Southern Maine including Salmon Falls Architecture and John Morris Architects.

Kevin's experience has taught him to lead projects from an initial design concept stage up through construction completion. Kevin is a firm believer that a successful project is one that has a close collaboration and synergy between the architect, builder and the client. Kevin's knows his attention to detail is the key component to helping his client’s reach their design goals.

With new technology constantly coming online Kevin stays at the forefront of it through his continuous research, educational seminars and training. He is always keeping abreast of new construction technologies, and energy-efficient techniques. Kevin always seeks to improve his specifications and designs at every opportunity to create timeless architecture that is sustainable, affordable and minimizes the impact on our natural resources.

Kevin is a Registered Architect (NCARB), a member of AIA (The American Institute of Architects), and a Certified Green Professional (CGP-a National Associations of Home Builders designation, similar to the LEED program). He is also a member of the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council).

Kevin lives in West Falmouth with his wife and children. He enjoys being outdoors, mountain biking, hiking and skiing.
